All-School Tefilah

At the end of each school day, the final 30 minutes are dedicated to communal all-school Tefilah led by Rabbi Ross, Cantor Ines, Rabbi Sandy, and Kenny Green.

Students will practice their class-learned prayer skills and participate at their comfort level. Students are seated inter-grade to encourage peer leadership, with Madrichim taking on a leadership role.

Code of Conduct

We are dedicated to ensuring every child has the opportunity to learn and thrive in an environment where education is essential. We aim for students to be able to learn and teachers can teach. We are committed to fostering a nurturing atmosphere conducive to Judaic learning. To achieve this, we hold certain expectations for our students, teachers, and parents to embody our code:

Respect - Derech Eretz: Every student, teacher, parent, and staff deserves respect. We must ensure everyone's voice can be heard and approach conflicts with the intention of positive resolution.

Integrity - Yosher: We align our actions with our words, holding ourselves and each other accountable to cultivate a positive environment where growth and learning flourish.

Community - Kehilah: Being part of the Temple Shaaray Tefila community means embracing the principles of integrity, honor, and respect. We are collectively responsible for creating a safe, secure, and respectful learning environment.

Honor - Kavod: We pledge to be honest and strive to understand diverse perspectives, enriching our community through trust and respect.

Special Learning Needs

One of the core priorities of our school is to create an inclusive and supportive educational environment that caters to the diverse needs of all our students. We understand that each learner comes with a unique set of skills, backgrounds, and learning styles.

Moreover, we believe in the importance of fostering a positive and productive learning environment. This involves creating a safe and welcoming space where students feel valued, understood, and motivated to engage with their learning. We strive to cultivate a culture of respect, empathy, and collaboration among students and staff, where every member of our school community is empowered to express themselves and contribute meaningfully.
