Mitzvah Day 2018

This year many of us have expressed the desire to be inspired, to feel hopeful, to unite and spread the message of love not hate. Mitzvah Day can play an important role in that.

MITZVAH DAY is a day of social action in which Shaaray Tefila’s adults, teens and children take part in hands-on projects to support various charitable organizations and build stronger communities. The day is founded on the Jewish values of tikkun olam (repairing the world), tzedek (righteousness) and gemilut chassadim (acts of loving-kindness). Please join us for a fun and special Mitzvah Day on Sunday, November 18th and let us connect with each other in solidarity, strength and love.

Interfaith Thanksgiving Service at 4pm
Join us at the Bedford Presbyterian Church for this inspirational service jointly sponsored by Temple Shaaray Tefila. This year we will hear from the President and Director of the Mount Kisco Interfaith Food Pantry. Please bring a food donation. Details can be found here.
