On behalf of Liz Marlowe, our Religious School Director, and our Rabbis, I am pleased to invite your child to join a new program called KINDERGARTEN CONNECTION. This class will bring together Kindergarten children to explore Jewish traditions and teachings in a fun, warm and friendly environment. This program is free of charge and open to all children in Kindergarten. We are thrilled to announce that Sarah Gregoire, one of our incredible ECC faculty members, will be teaching this class.
Once a month (for a total of 7 sessions) this class will meet in the Education Building at Temple Shaaray Tefila from 8:30am – 10:15am.
The goal of Kindergarten Connection is to:
Connect young families and their children to our temple community
Create a pathway to Jewish teachings and traditions through story-telling, art, song and play
Engage our youngest learners in fun and meaningful experiences that will spark a passion for Jewish learning
Provide a warm and welcoming environment to explore new ideas and create lasting connections to Judaism inside and outside of our temple walls
This class will meet once a month on the following Sundays:
*Parents will be asked to join their child at our first class on November 4th for a family experience. (December – May, parents are welcome and encouraged to stay at the temple for coffee and bagels in the youth lounge for a parents only program called “Cafe Shaaray”).
If you have any questions about Kindergarten Connection, or about other programs that Temple Shaaray Tefila has to offer your family, please reach out to me directly. My information is below and my door is always open!
